Good all-around mexican restaurant in Prattville. Doesnt blow your socks off but consistently very good. Tacos Al Pastor are my go-to and they have been good all 3 times I have been here.

It was not a bad meal. Did not really like what I ordered but that was personal preference. There was nothing wrong with the food. The chips were hot and tasty. The salsa is always good. Waitress was nice.

Decent Mexican, with a larger menu than average, but not really heavily seasoned. The salsa has a wee bit of bite, but that's about where the flavor ends. The fajitas in particular were bland and not cooked down enough. Probably the best thing I had was the chile relleno, which had a nice crispy exterior and a creamy interior, with none of the papery skin on the chile that some other restaurants stupidly leave in place.Sweet tea was good. Service was a little on the slow side but not lacking in any other ways.

Me and two of my boys got a night out together, stopped in for dinner, truly enjoyed everything. Our server was friendly, split the queso in two bowls without asking so the boys could have their own, asked if they would eat the red sauce, and brought our food very fast. She paid attention to make sure the boys didn't burn themselves on the hot plates! We have eaten here many times before, the food is consistently good, and tonight was no different. Thanks for the great food, and friendly atmosphere everyone!

This is mine and my lady's weekly go to spot for food and margaritas. Mexico Tipico is one of the few places you can go and get real, genuine, friendly service. Food is consistently great, drinks are priced fairly. Great environment! Love this place. Have been visiting since I was a child.

The service was good, quick, and friendly. The food was tasty, and the enchilada I got wasn't smothered in cheese and oil like some places. It was pretty healthful. This was my first time there.

I ordered a meal to go with sides. To be precise, it was a chicken quesadilla with rice and guacamole salad. Instead of setting aside the sides like a normal person/server would do, they shoved them into my quesadilla.. I love eating there and the food is delicious, but this was uncalled for. Maybe they were in a rush, and next time I’ll be sure to check my food before leaving the restaurant.

I'm from Texas, so I'm pretty picky about my Mexican food. Staff here was friendly. I ordered a super burrito to go. Paid about $10 but it included a bag of chips and salsa. The salsa was EXCELLENT. The burrito was OK. The meat tasted old and the burrito was more of a rolled up taco on flour than a typical burrito folded burrito. I would try this place again, though.

This place is always consistently good. My go-to are the beef rolled tacos and the cheese fries. I know cheese fries at a Mexican joint? Add sour cream and guacamole and it's like loaded nachos. Delicious!They also have a goat in the men's room. Or maybe that was the tequila 😂

Never been sat severed and given refreshments in less than 100 seconds in my life. My jaw dropped. I haven't even eaten the food and I'm impressed. You get worst customer service at some ultra expensive 5 star restaurants. Great place.

This place is going downhill. The food is Bland and not seasoned, and most of their vegetables are on the verge of spoiling. There are too many Mexican places in Prattville to suffer through another meal here.

Hospitality is AMAZING! Came in about 30mins till closing and they welcomed us happily. Got us sat down and took our orders food came out hot and exactly how we ordered and everyone there acknowledged us and made sure we were happy. Wonderful people laid back atmosphere really feels like you're at home!

Awesome place to bring your family to have a great meal. They have options to satisfy your pickiest eater in your family to the eldest! Try rolled tacos!

First time going here and the food was good. I'd say pretty typical for inexpensive Mexican fare. They have drink specials some nights. They make your guacamole fresh table side, which was nice. We went on a Saturday night and it was packed. Staff was very friendly. We'll go back.

A staple restraunt in Prattville. There are a lot of Mexican restraints to choose from. They have lasted the longest. Great atmosphere and food

This was my first time eating here after it was recommended by a friend. I had the Pollo Ranchero and it was delicious. The chicken was very tender. Will definitely be back.

This place has been in the same spot with the same customers and most of the same staff my entire life, you can count on seeing at least 5 people you know when you eat dinner here so make sure you look decent lol. Can always count on having an amazing meal, its just a matter of timing it just right, but even the wait isn't usually bad since they expanded several years ago. Whole restaurant is non smoking, cant go wrong with this place, I live out of town and I wish I could eat her more often now.
